How To Go Incognito On YouTube And Watch All The Offbeat Videos Without Embarrassing Yourself

YouTube has launched an incognito mode in the app that will allow you to watch all types of videos without tracing them in your browsing history or search.

YouTube has made it easy to see all of the offbeat videos you can not find in groups or with your family. It can be embarrassing many times when a small person or working friend in your house is passing through your YouTube video and suddenly a private video you saw last night started appearing in search.

How To Go Incognito On YouTube And Watch All The Offbeat Videos Without Embarrassing Yourself

In order to avoid such embarrassing moments, YouTube has launched a secret mode in the app that will allow you to watch all types of videos without tracing them in your browsing history or search.

According to the reports, this feature will now be limited to Android users only. Toggling on this feature will prevent your search history from being tracked. Similar to Google, the feature background will become gray and some reports also show that YouTube has signed out and switched the account to fit into the incognito mode option.

Here's how you can enable the feature in your app:

- Open the YouTube app.

- Tap on your account icon.

- Tap on Turn on Incognito.

- First-time users will see a pop-up message, tap on it.

Once the mode is turned on, you will see that your YouTube icon has changed to the secret symbol that appears in Chrome. Below would be written on a black strip "You are incognito." The videos you secretly watch will not be visible in your search or your browsing history.

Please note that incognito does not hide your activity from Google, your employer or internet provider. It only hides your activity in search or history, like Google does in secret.
